EQUITY & DIVERSITY POLICY
Our Equity and Diversity Policy explains our position on ensuring equal access for everyone.
We have always welcomed people of all backgrounds to join us on our adventures. We can only accept people over 18 because we do not have an AALA license or DBS check, which is a legal requirement when taking young people on adventure activities. As we have had no training or experience in leading children or disabled people, we feel it would be inappropriate and potentially hazardous to try and do so at this stage, though we are not against doing so in the future, indeed it would be something we would like to offer, when we are able.

We;
Insist on fairness, equality of access, recognising inequalities and taking steps to address them
Continue to develop our services where possible to ensure that it becomes equally accessible to all members of society whatever their ability, gender, race, ethnicitiy, sexual orientation, religious beliefs or socio/economic status
Take out small groups so no-one feels left out
Use the power of the outdoors to engage, unite and motivate people, promote social inclusion and improve health
Make adjustments so that participation can be enjoyed, at a level appropriate to the customer's ability
When possible, promote positive images of people representative of society as a whole
Ensure that all of our customers can realise their talent and fulfil their potential
