Scafell Magic!

We had the most amazing day exploring Scafell on Bank Holiday Thursday! Only a few feet lower than Scafell Pike, (the highest mountain in England), Scafell is often quieter and has magnificent views. The walk is long and takes up most of the day. It has a mixture of pleasant, easy walking and more challenging climbs. It is not for the faint-hearted. The rocky summit demands respect but on a fine day, one's efforts are very well rewarded!
